Well, I did it again, I am bringing you another banana recipe! Bananas seem to either never last around here, or start browning on me... so this was the day to work with the over... over-ripe bananas! I love banana bread, I am loving the amish friendship starter breads, and who doesn't love peanut butter cups? So today we throw together a recipe using all 3 of these delicious components!

Peanut Butter Cup Banana Bread Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 cup Amish Friendship Bread Starter
- 1⅓ cups mashed banana (3 medium)
- 3 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 cups flour
- 1½ teaspoons baking powder
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 bag of peanut butter cup pieces for baking
Cinnamon Sugar Dust
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
Directions
- Preheat oven to 325° F (165° C).
- In a large mixing bowl, add starter and beat in banana, eggs, and vanilla.
- Add in the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt; stir until blended.
- Butter two loaf pans.
- Dust the greased pans with cinnamon sugar mixture.
- Pour the batter evenly into loaf pans and sprinkle sugar cinnamon mixture on the top.
- Bake for one hour or until the bread loosens evenly from the sides and a toothpick inserted in the center of the bread comes out clean.
- Cool Before Cutting, ENJOY!
