Banana Bark

Oh wow, this lovely treat is one that the Farmer and I were GREATLY surprised by.  I knew I would like it, and it would be ok, but we had no idea that it would be quite delicious.  It kinda reminded me of a peanut parfait from an ice cream place!  It was so easy and the ingredients are simple!  Let me show you what I did!

Ingredients: Banana, Nut Butter, Nuts, Salt

Utensils: flat pan, knife, spatula, small bowl, freezer

First, decide how much you want to make. (it's fine to make extra to have later that week) I serving is half of a large banana.

Find a flat tray that you can put your banana slices on. It is smart to lay parchment paper down first.

Slice your bananas as thin or thick as you would like.  Maybe 1/4 inch is what I did.

Take approximately 1-2 TBS of nut butter of your choice ( I chose creamy peanut butter) for each serving, spread on banana slices.  Put this in freezer while melting chocolate.

Take your chocolate of choice (I love dark chocolate) and melt approximately 2 TBS per serving.  Take Bananas out of freezer and drizzle then spread the melted chocolate.

Optionally top with chopped nuts and/or sea salt

Place in freezer for several hours, and keep frozen until ready to serve.  Break it up and enjoy!
